So, what does being "like him" actually look like?

BUT REALLY, WHAT'S IN A NAME?

Let's take a brief look at Moses' identity! 

The name "Moses" was given to him by the Egyptian Pharaoh's daughter. 

Moses is an Egyptian/African name.

Meaning: "He who is drawn out of water."

And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months. 

And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink. 

And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him. And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.

So Moses, the son of Amram and Jochebed and oldest brother to Aaron and Miriam, always knew that he was an Hebrew Israelite, not an Egyptian/Hamite. People who today, are known throughout the world, as the Africans.

Moses was born of the Hebrew Israelite (Priest) tribe of Levi. 

He was the quintessential Hebrew ISRAELITE.

As was the case concerning his relationship with Pharaoh, Moses was often mistaken for an Egyptian, even

(by his future wife's own family),

REMEMBER, HEBREW IS A NATIONALITY, NOT A RELIGION!

DIG THIS!

Of the 70 people that went into Egypt, 52 of them were male. How would you suppose that 530.000 children came from 71 people (counting Joseph), if the Israelite males didn't marry the Egyptian women? Descendants of Ham, Noah's second son.

Moses like all of those males, married a Hamite woman too! (Seed of Ham).

You see, Moses' wife Zipporah was a Cushite. The descendant of Ham's son Cush.

More specifically Zipporah an Assyrian, Folks know today as Ethiopians, (African).

And because we all learned in elementary school that the male carries the seed, we understand there have never been any "white" Ethiopians.

So Moses, like all of his Hebrew Israelite brothers, dwelling in the land of Ham (Africa) married;

A "Black" woman!

For many years during the pagan custom of "Easter," there is one major television motion picture that's piped into millions of homes throughout the United States.

Every year, we can expect to watch on the network "ABC,"

“THE TEN COMMANDMENTS."

We all know the awesome history of how after being in bondage for 400 years, Jesus sent Moses to lead the nation who the Lord later chose to be his Priests out of captivity to the Egyptians.

And how through faith and obedience, God used Moses to split the Red sea, and topple many governments.

But true to form, Satan (the deceiver), just like he did with Adam and Eve, always gives you half-truths!

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS CONFUSION!

GOOD GRIEF!

The "Word" of God tells how Moses led the (biblical) children of Israel through the wilderness for (40) years by the hand of God, 

And how Moses later presented God's designated Priests, the children of Israel with the LORD'S COMMANDMENTS, LAWS AND STATUTES. At the Mt. which is Sinai.

But did you know, before the Lord sent Moses to save the children of Israel from the anguish and suffering they endured at the hands of the Egyptians, God taught Moses rulership, and how to lead. 

The Lord always prepares his Priests, before he sends them out to do his bidding!

The Lord's AMBASSADORS!

Moses the Hebrew Israelite almost became Pharaoh in Egypt through succession.

Because the Egyptian pharaoh at that time thought Moses the Hebrew Israelite, the kid that Pharaoh's daughter drew from the water, was really his biological Grandson. But he wasn't!

So, you see, unlike the movie "The Ten COMMANDMENTS," Moses, his mama, and his fam always knew who he was.

'It's good to know history, because if you don't, someone might exchange his-story for yours!'

The entire plan of God concerning man's salvation, was originally told to us by the prophet Moses. 

At the direction of GOD, Moses wrote the 1st five (5) books of the Bible! Which most certainly includes Deuteronomy. 

Speaking to the Children of Israel, God caused Moses to write:

The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;  

And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. 

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Which is why Jesus, in the "parable of the rich man," speaking of Abraham, concerning Lazarus the beggar, said this:

Abraham saith unto him, they have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

SPEAKING OF THE LORD HIMSELF! 

GOD CAUSED BOTH OF THESE MEN (MOSES AND JESUS), TO ESCAPE THE EDICTS OF RULERS, WHO OUT OF "FEAR," SOUGHT THEIR DESTRUCTION!

Did you know that Jesus and Moses were the only men their age in their generations?

And this should be of particular interest to folk everywhere, who with reckless abandon carelessly assume that all "blacks" must be Africans.

Because as we all learned in biology 101 (dissecting all those frogs), “the male carries the seed,” if the Egyptians killed all the Israelite males, the Israelite women would marry Egyptian men. Making all the future children Egyptians, EGYPTIAN!

And not Hebrew Israelites.

The Lord sent MOSES and JESUS among another nation of "Black" people to hide them.

Imagine king Herod looking for this child and his parents in ancient Egypt!

I'D IMAGINE FINDING HIM WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM!

Brothers and sisters, the prophet Moses didn't make it into the land promised given to the children of Israel, because as (a friend of GOD) who understood as much as he did about God and his plan for man's salvation, Moses did not enjoy the latitude of "angry error."

The disciples' vision of Christ, Moses and Abraham in the (transfiguration) was a vision of the future!

Prior to king Saul, God was the only king Israel had as a nation. The Lord, Creator of all things, the True and LIVING GOD, the God of Israel, JESUS as their KING!

But Israel rejected God and insisted the prophet Samuel provide them a man to rule over them. 

Absolutely contrary to the plan of God. 

Israel, the Lord's Priesthood Nation, in an attempt to be like the other nations, demanded a man to rule over us. A position unfortunately maintained by many "black" people even today. 

As most of us still insist "I ain't nobody's slave!"

Brothers and sisters, this was a system of governance the children of Israel did not suffer before they jettisoned the Lord GOD as their king.

Mind you, the Lord delivered Israel out of Egypt, destroyed the place, and all of the nations (and their gods), as the Lord brought Israel on their way to the promised land. Territory that God took from Canaan the son of Ham, (Hamites/Africans). 

While feeding Israel angel food (from heaven), water to drink when there was none, their clothes did not wax old. 

During which time GOD made Israel an extremely rich and feared people among the nations. 

Then We Turned Our Backs on GOD, and began to worship gods that be no gods, even today!

One of the most important lessons we learn from king Saul are the issues that led to his death, and that of three of his sons. 

A particularly important lesson for those of us who've been taught it's unimportant that we follow the Lord's directions and protocols. 

"How could God do such a thing, he or she was a good person!"

By disobeying the Lord and seeking to communicate with the dead (evil spirit), the Lord took the kingdom from Saul giving it to King David, later sending Saul to his death.

Let's read what actually happened! 

Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel, saying, it repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. 

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.  And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.  

The Lord hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbor of thine, that is better than thou.  And also, the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.  

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless, Samuel mourned for Saul: and the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

KING SAUL KNEW HE WAS COMMITTING A SIN.

Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. 

And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.  

And when Saul enquired of the Lord, the Lord answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.  

Then said Saul unto his servants, seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi–shua, the sons of Saul.  

And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.  

Then said Saul to his armourbearer, draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So, Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.  

So, Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.  So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; And enquired not of the Lord: therefore, he slew him and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

SAUL COMMITTED SUICIDE!

Saul's children knew the Lord was no longer with their father, and he'd chosen David to be king over Israel. 

Yet they followed pops anyway. Causing their own deaths!

Although there are many lessons learned, there are three major lessons we glean from history concerning king Saul.

1. OBEY THE LORD'S HOLY COMMANDMENTS.

2. DO NOT FOLLOW, WORSHIP, OR SEEK FAMILIAR SPIRITS / THE DEAD!

3. DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BECOME UNEQUALLY YOKED WITH PEOPLE WHO DO NOT FOLLOW THE LORD...UNBELIEVERS.
