You can be sure, the Lord just told us in Matthew 10, being a follower of Jesus will cause divisions within our families, friends and familiars!

The word of God is more than just world history. The Lord God of Israel has a very particular plan he has established to recover his creation. A recovery based on Adam and Eve deciding to do things their own way from the beginning. Jesus' death (plan), was foretold after man's decision to die, by commiting that spiritual suicide, in the book of Genesis.
