Why Do Bad Things Happen To Seemingly Good And Innocent People?
With all of the death, murders, injury and crime, even read about in ancient biblical times, haven't we all asked ourselves this question at one time or another? Seems now days disasters and calamities only truly get our attention when they are massively horrific, directly effect us or someone we know.

We all remember a time, when if we heard or read about a heinous crime, everyone was aghast and spoke for days of how terrible it was. But unfortunately, today terrible crimes and murders are so typical, we simply turn the page or channel and go our individual ways.
Many of us go to church every week seeking direction, blessings, help, some just out of plain old habit or tradition. But we're never taught who or what God really is. Some churches teach God is a figment of man's imagination, a baby, an angel, a prophet! And if they teach God at all, they never explain how, or who God truly is!

There are some people who even believe that God is a Cow or an animal of some sort.
Never knowing, therefore always underestimating his power, might, his majesty and mercy! And never knowing how to honor, worship, or simply obey him. Or even how to approach him.
1 Samuel 2: 6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
King David wrote in Psalms 104: 23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. 24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works? In wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. 28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. 35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
THAT'S RIGHT! WHETHER WE KNOW IT OR NOT, THE LORD IS IN CONTROL OF IT ALL!!
The Blessings And The Cursings! Even The Chastisements (of The Lord)!
Deuteronomy 32: 39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no God with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
But in case you don't believe, lets read for example what the Lord said about the penalty for those who worship other Gods;

Everyday we're seeing an increase in world disasters, wars, murders, robberies, and wickedness! Among many of our Leaders, Politicians, Ministers, within our neighborhoods, with family members, friends and for some of us, even our own lives.
Matthew wrote in; 24: 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Jesus told his disciples things that (we) living in this time should look for. (Sisters and brothers, The disciples of course are dead!)
Verse :4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

My hope in these last days, is that we all seek to understand more how the Lord operates, perhaps even if out of fear!
Why? Because fear is the best place to start!

Many pastors preach about the gentleness, love, and longsuffering of God. As well they tell us of the peace, blessings and prosperity associated with the (Sun) Sunday God, mix it all together then stamp the Lord's name "Jesus" on it! You know, that other Jesus that Paul warned us about, in 2 Corinthians 11: 4. I'm sure we've all heard of him!

But these same preachers will not teach about the real Jesus of the Bible. That Great and Terrible God in Nehemiah 1: 5. The God of the old testament that destroyed Sodom and Gomorah, and drowned the whole earth, the Jesus that kills! "The Word"! The one whose vesture will be bathed in blood when he returns! The (SAME GOD) that John wrote about in the new testament, Revelations.

But if more people understood the operation of the true and living God, the penalties and rewards associated with our behavior and our relationships, we might make a more deliberate effort to learn and adhere to God's laws, statutes and ordinances.
So we can protect ourselves, our children and loved ones from the evil that God brings upon us and the evil day that is to come, that Matthew wrote about in Chapter 6: 13.
More importantly so we can gain access to the coming opportunity that the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel has made available to every person! The opportunity to enter into the Kingdom - Government, even the (family) of God! The Godhead!
So we can protect ourselves, our children and loved ones from the evil that God brings upon us and the evil day that is to come, that Matthew wrote about in Chapter 6: 13.

Brothers and sisters, "Good" is a relative term! "Good" according to whom? We're going to read from a biblical perspective how the Lord defines good! Then we'll read how our being NAKED and our being "GOOD" are totally antithetical to each other! And how being Naked greatly increases the possibility for evil to hurt or even kill every one of us !

Paul wrote to the Romans 12: 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Look at the behavior of Noah, and the results of his belief and works.

(That law that is in his heart (mind), are the Commandments!)
Let's read who else was blameless in the law, in addition to Elisabeth?
Philipians 3: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
That's right, the very Apostle that wrote to the Romans that many of the lawless quote to attempt to kill the commandments, Paul a Pharisee, was not only raised in the law, he knew the law, and kept the Commandments too!
Which meant after he was knocked to the Ground and blinded, (Paul got up repented and entered into God's Covenant - Baptism Acts 9: 18), he then too was a righteous person in the eyes of the Lord!

So although Paul thought himself a servant of God, taught and raised in the Laws of God, he did not become a Christian (Christ like) until he entered into the covenant with God! (Jesus Christ)!
So when you read or when someone attempts to teach you about the law that "Paul said" we're not under or that if righteousness could have been by the law..., you know now he could NOT have been talking about the Royal law, (Commandments)!
Because Paul kept THE LAWS OF GOD!
"BLAMELESSLY!"
Who else should also be Blameless?
1 Corinthians 1: 7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be BLAMELESS in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And Paul received the Baptism - Covenant in JESUS name!
In fact, Paul was speaking about the Sacrificial laws Jesus nailed to the cross!

Satan told Eve she didn't need to obey either! So she in turn told Adam and the two of them ran with it! They disobeyed, and their (disobedience) slew the whole of creation!
But when we are taught this lie, believe it and practice it, not only does our disobedience to God's commands, statutes and ordinances make us willful sinners just like Adam and Eve; but much worse.
When we choose death by rejecting Gods laws and commandments statutes and ordinances, as with Adam and Eve our defiance makes us NAKED, open to injury, harm and death! Even Eternal Death, BY THE JUDGMENT OF GOD!!
When we choose death by rejecting Gods laws and commandments statutes and ordinances, as with Adam and Eve our defiance makes us NAKED, open to injury, harm and death! Even Eternal Death, BY THE JUDGMENT OF GOD!!
Man was not created to die, Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
When someone willfully sins, something has to die!

Look what God said; Genesis 3: 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Where did God get the skins from? Animals! They had to die!

The same disobedience of Adam and Eve leaves us and those around us unprotected by God's holy spirit and leaves us vulnerable to any and all evil and unholy spirit!
Psalms 34: 7 the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Many think sin is drinking, dancing, smoking, ..... While drinking and smoking may indeed be bad for ones health, according to the Word of God, none of those are sins. The biblical definition of sin is;
1 John 3: 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Now you understand why you keep running into those "keep the commandments" verses all throughout the Old and New Testaments, including Revelation, the last chapter in the last book in the book!
Although Jesus nailed the sacrificial law to the cross Colossians 2:14, Jesus has several sets of laws that he gave every man (species) to keep!
1. Dietary Law!
2. Cleanliness Law!
3. Feast Days!
4. Royal Law!
These laws allow for our spiritual growth (instruction in righteousness), salvation and our protection. They allow man the opportunity God has given us to develop his mind in us, so in the 1st resurrection the elect according to knowledge, will become God! Because his word is the mind of God. Don't we raise our children to become like their parents good or bad?
Well God is creating his children to become like himself ....God!
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
In fact, brothers and sisters, the entire Bible is a law! A Blueprint for Eternal Life! The Ultimate reward for keeping the laws statutes and ordinances of God, according to what Jesus had written are incomprehensibly enormous!
2 Timothy 3: 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Brothers and Sisters, Good Works = Keeping The Commandments, Statutes and Ordinances of GOD!
RIGHTEOUSNESS!

BROTHERS AND SISTERS THE UNRIGHTEOUS SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!
DON'T JUST STRIVE TO BE GOOD!
STRIVE TO BE RIGHTEOUS!
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment. Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.
