I read a post from a Sister the other day, it read she was beginning to seeking the true and living God. She posted a question inquiring about Jeremiah Chapter 10 and whether or not verses in that chapter were speaking of the man made custom of Christmas.
There are those uninformed or simply false prophets that teach the Bible has no historical relevance. But the truth is, for those who know history, there is no truth to that statement!
The Bible other wise known as (Biblos - a collection of Books), being one of, if not the oldest books or collection of Books known to man, IS a History Book for everything relative to man's salvation!
The Bible encompasses many World events prior to Israel's destruction in 70ad, and many events thereafter.
THEREFORE THE BIBLE DOES NOT MATCH HISTORY, , HISTORY MATCHES THE BIBLE!
THESE ARE DOCUMENTED FACTS!
The God of Israel (God of the Bible)!
1 Kings 8: 22 And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: 23 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
God is the God of all creation He is able to show his servants what is coming in the future and how to identify it, how to recognize it, prepare for it well before it comes.
Isaiah 46: 8 Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
God is able to show his servants how to save themselves from the pending destruction, a destruction that will soon be brought upon mankind.
*Act 2: 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
However it is important to know history and to understand the changes man has made to God's word and when those changes were made. Additionally God shows man the consequences we face for following the changes that man has made.
This Series is designed to highlight some of those changes according to the word of God - Bible (KJV) and History!!!

Most of the subliminal Changes made to God's word were instituted (through) one organization.
The organization calling itself "the Mother Church"! It states "our doctrine is not necessarily the doctrine of the Bible"!
93 -95 % of the religions in the west come from the "Mother Church".
Beginning with Martin Luther's (excommunication), other wise considered a defection from the Mother Church in 1521, Martin Luther, a German friar Priest and professor of (Theory), separated himself from the Mother Church because he believed the Mother Church also known as the Roman Catholic Church and it's elected leader were not infallible and he stated:
"I do not accept the authority of popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other, my conscience is captive to the Word of God.
I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe."
Traditionally, Luther is remembered to have ended by speaking the words, "Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen."

This began a process that lead to a split in the Roman Catholic Church. And although Martin Luther was excommunicated from the Catholic church for his position, he maintained the church's doctrine, practices and pagan rituals established by various pagans for their various pagan Gods.
Then they were organized and subsequently insisted upon by The Roman Catholic Church.
The Roman Catholic Church is a conduit for many pagan beliefs!

God For All Occasion!
Roman religious practice was more an affair of state than a matter of personal conscience - a ritual performed on behave of the people by their priest in which the people themselves took no part.
Most Roman towns had several temples dedicated to Gods and Goddeses, representing different abstract concepts.
Vesta for the hearth, Mars for military matters, and warfare and so on. And there was no difficulty in fitting new Gods, representing new concepts into the scheme of things as the need arose.
Every Roman household had its own household God, there was a God of State.
The Romans adopted many of the Greek gods and goddesses. Diana was Rome's version of the Greek Artemis, goddess of the hunt, the moon and childbirth.
Acts 19: 26 this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: 27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

As a result of Martin Luther's protest against the Mother Church, other religions were created. He was a seminal figure in the Protestant Church.
Many of the Catholic church beliefs continued to be maintained and perpetuated, including the pagan practices the Church ordained to be observed by man.
Out of Mother Church - Holy Roman Catholic Church, also called "the Great Whore that sitteth on many waters", Rev 17:1 we also have the Harlots Rev 17: 5 that came from her verse 5. And upon her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
MOTHER OF HARLOTS
These Harlots are the children (believers) that came from the Great Whore. Like the Lutherans, they maintain and teach the same doctrine of Mother.

By way of the Catholic Church we were given SUNDAY Worship instituted by way of Emperor Constantine in 321 ad.,
And this is our topic for part 1.
The Lord created and santified the (7th) seventh day before he created man. Genesis 2: 1-4. The Sabbath day was the only day the Lord named. Every other day the Lord gave numbers. The Sabbath day has even a greater prophetic meaning as well! Which is a topic for another time.
*Exodus 20: 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

The Egyptians like the Assyrians and Babylonians, were advanced astronomers, and on very remote time, but how early is not known, had their weeks for several days each. How they came to have weeks of seven days loke the Akkadians the Assyrians, and the Babylonians is not known. Nor is it know why they call their daus for the sum, the moon, and five of the planets.
The Egyptian division of time was introduced into Rome and supplanted the Roman calendar, but the time of the innovation it is not certainly known; some authorities placing it in the second and others in the fourth of the Christian era. In this Rome week of seven days, one day was made for the sun, and called "day of the sun."

SUNDAY was first regulated by civil authority in 321ad under Constantine, directing that it be hallowed and observed appropriately. By this law juridical and industrial activities were suspended.
The laws regulating SUNDAY observance were gradually made more comprehensive and stringent by subsequent emperors, forbidding participation or attendance at places of public amusement and prescribing a more humane treatment of prisoners on that day.
A synodical decree of 585 (canon 1, Synod of Macon; Hefele, Concilienge-schichte, iii. 40, Fr. transl., iii. 209, cf.note 2, Eng. transl., iv.407) established sever punishments for the desecration of SUNDAY.
But these strict regulations were not borrowed from old testament legislation, the day being only broadly regarded as corresponding to the old testament Sabbath. "Sabbath signifies rest, SUNDAY signifies resurrection," taught Augustine (on Ps.cl).
Not until the time of the Carolingians did the idea of substitution of SUNDAY for the old testament Sabbath prevail in Christian Europe.

"Martin Luther's Catechism taught that one day is not essentially better than another but that since it is not possible to devote each day in the week to a special religious celebration one day should be set apart for that purpose and that to avoid the unnecessary disturbance which an innovation would occasion, it should continue to be SUNDAY."

History of observance of SUNDAY.
The Earliest traces of the observance of the first day of the week in remembrance of Christ resurrection is found in the Pauline period of the Apostolic age. Proceeding this Christians had after the example of Christ himself and as a continuation of the Old Testament custom kept the Sabbath but with some freedom as to the method of its observance.
At first daily meetings were held for the expression of thanks for salvation. But soon a movement began among Gentile Christians 1 Corinthians xvi.2 with Acts xx.7 to hold longer services on SUNDAY characterized in part by the collection of freewill offerings.
The name "The Lord's Day" became a designation for it.
The Day is called SUNDAY by Justin Myrtyr as commemorating the creation of light on the first day of the creation and also the awakening of Christ, the SUN of righteousness from the darkness of the grave.
After Justin the mention of The Lords Day as a weekly observance of the Christians becomes more frequent.

But SUNDAY did not start with Constantine it began with SUN worship! Celebrated even as far back as the Egyptian God Ra!

BUT WHO IS ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE THIS SIGN?
Along with SUNDAY, the Great Whore also fed us Easter, The Doctrine of Faith Justification, the Trinity, Purgatory, Dying and Going to Heaven, and many other beliefs, including Christmas.
The Mother church also prides herself as being the church that the Lord will marry upon his return. But according to scripture she is an imposter hence the name the "Great Whore".
With over a Billion followers the Great Whore is practiced in virtually every nation, and this does not include the followers of the Harlots Revelations 17: 5 (the churches that came out of her).
The head of this organization is called the Pope he controls the Church through what's known as the Papacy.
He is also described as the man that seeks to change times and Laws. His (office) and position has created a monumental superficial change in the process that God has created for man's salvation... through DECEPTION!
Daniel 7: 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
