These two Hebrew ISRAELITES were husband and wife. Because of their greed, and reckless vows, they brought upon themselves the swift wrath of God. And the Lord killed them both.
As with all of the Lord's commands, the protocol concerning husband and wife (man and woman) comes with distinct directives and or consequences. But it should be noted, and we will show why that although the Lord made the man the head of the household, if the male goes contrary to what is written, the female (wife) will do best to stick with what is written!
Additionally, although as usual
(throughout the Bible) the Lord uses Israel (the Lord’s Priesthood nation) as his example, those consequences apply regardless of race or color or nationality!
