The worship of pagan gods is but one of the sins committed by the original children of Israel, that provoked the Lord to send evil unto (his Priesthood nation), by way of perpetual and incessant captivities. Jesus warned Israel over and over again! But they would not listen.

If ISRAEL is the (ONLY) NATION, who actually went through all of the aforementioned murder, starvation, slavery, castrations, imprisonment, rape, beheadings, lynchings, beatings, the destruction, separations from loved ones, and captivities all from the CURSES,BESTOWED ONLY UPON ISRAEL because of our sins. Would anyone with a modicum of knowledge of the true and living God, or just plain common sense think that God would then simply decide to end the captivity of his Priesthood nation, and just return them to the promised land on May 14, 1948 with a symbol unrelated to the God of Israel but representing a pagan god unapologetically flying over their heads?

(BUT WHEN MARTIN LUTHER LEFT THE MOTHER CHURCH, HE BROUGHT WITH HIM, PRACTICED AND TAUGHT THE SAME DOCTRINE THAT MOTHER MAINTAINES AND TEACHES EVEN TODAY, HUNDREDS OF CENTURIES LATER)!
After Martin Luther's split from the Roman Catholic Church - Mother church, that the Harlots children were created, and developed from, those same religious (Harlots) maintained, practice and teach the doctrine of Mother too! Even today!

So, let's look at some of those customs and pagan practices! Let's begin with COMMUNION, The Bread and the Wine!

Although the British Church was revitalized by the Irish arriving from the west, a Church based on remote monastic settlements could not cater for the spiritual needs of the ordinary people. To deal with this situation, Pope Gregory, at the end of the 6th century, sent St. Augustine to England at the head of a band of missionaries. The Church they founded was closer in organization to the continental model, with central bishoprics at Canterbury and York and subsidiary sees at Canterbury and Dorchester. Their mission was largely successful, and by the middle of the 7th century paganism was dwindling in England. Worship of the old gods did not die out at once; Gregory himself advised his missionaries to leave the pagan shrines alone, and to introduce Christian worship only gradually alongside pagan practices.
This mingling of Christianity and paganism is the reason why Christ’s birthday is celebrated on December 25- the date of the pagans’ winter festival.

Brothers and sisters as we read in Exodus, Isaiah, Deuteronomy and Ephesians.....the lord God of Israel - (Jesus), does not permit mankind to worship or merge the practices of paganism with his Holy Word. Jesus is the Word of God (the spokesman for the Godhead)! Neither does the Lord of Hosts allow his statutes and ordinances to be replaced by man.
